Nick studied French and English at university, and worked in International Development, Strategy and Sustainability roles before deciding to focus on photography full time.  

Nick has worked on photography assignments for a large number of NGOs as well as corporate clients, including Oxfam, the Vodafone Foundation, The Jane Goodall Foundation, Diageo and the NHS. His work has featured in The Sunday Times, The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph and National Geographic. 

Awards include:

  • In 2014 the photo 'Dead Sea Mud' was selected as a winner in the annual National Geographic Photo Contest.
  • In 2013, Nick's work was featured in the World Photography Organisation's exhibition in Somerset House in London.
  • In 2012, Nick's work was exhibited in the National Portrait Gallery in London, as part of their Portrait Photographer Of The Year exhibition (Taylor Wessing).

In recent years, Nick has increasingly combined professional work - using the 'big camera' - with more personal projects, often choosing to shoot with an iPhone to allow a more spontaneous, intimate style.

Nick has spent several years living and working in Africa, Asia and Latin America. He is currently based in London.
